FOGGY!

FOGGY!

Both Wednesday morning and this morning started out foggy but Wednesday morning the fog hung around until daylight.  I made sure to remind all the guys coming off shift to take a little extra time getting home so that they actually got home.

We had well problems ALL day Wednesday so our traffic was quite light throughout the day.  The last sand truck came in about 7:30 am and left about 10:00 am.  Michael had NO traffic come in after 7:30 pm last night…which made for a long night for him.

We heard mention at one point that there was a possibility of having to bring Coiled Tubing in to get things back on track but they finally got things going again about 4:00 am this morning…almost 24 hours later.

After 13 days here I finally went into town.  I took of a couple of hours early and Michael covered for me…good day for it since we didn’t have much traffic.  We had some mail that needed to be picked up and some that needed to be sent off – so I stopped at the Karnes City post office (to send) and the UPS store in Kenedy (to pick up).  I picked up a few items from Walmart and then stopped at Subway and got us each a sandwich.  We’re thankful for the meals we receive but we just needed something fresh and light and the sandwich hit the spot.

The frac crew has 3 teams that rotate between days, nights and days off.  The last couple of days they’ve been rotating.  Today’s day shift will go on days off when their shift ends at 6:00 pm today and they’re all quite ready.  A great group of guys and I hate to see them go…but they deserve some time off.  They work 6 days and then have 3 days off.  So when they come back to work, Michael will get them at night….Lucky guy.
