We haven’t been doing a lot of anything….mostly spending time with Dan, Amanda & Alex at home. Dan works a lot of hours so we reserve our big ‘adventures’ for the weekends.
Michael’s been able to continue his work in the basement by adding a few specialty items he wanted in the basement. He added a switch for the air compressor that he housed in the back basement plus he wired and installed 2 lights in the back basement area.
In order to earn our keep here at the Barnett Resort, Michael mowed the lawn yesterday…just in time for another showing yesterday afternoon. The woman who looked at the house was really interested and will be back Thursday evening so that her husband can take a look too. Keep your fingers crossed!
I’ve been staying busy working on my loom-knitted baby blanket. I have it over half way completed and have 3 of 5 colors completed (30 of 49 squares completed). We have 25 days till our newest ‘Mister’ is due so I’m still hoping to have it completed before he makes his debut.
We’ve planned 2 trips into Manhattan – 1 to lower Manhattan (mostly to sight-see) and one to the mid-town area (mostly for Munzee-ing)! We originally planned to head into the city tomorrow (Thursday) but found that it is supposed to rain most of the day and that just isn’t conducive to a good day of sight-seeing. So we’ll go next Monday and Thursday. We’ll ride the train (LIRR) into Penn Station and then walk and hop on and off the subway as needed.
This afternoon Nana & Papaw got Alex’s pool out and let him play for a while. I think he had almost as much fun waving at every car that passed by as he did playing in the water.
After a dinner of Beef & Broccoli we spent a short time visiting with Dan and Amanda before heading home for the evening. Once home we caught up on a few TV shows on the DVR and then hit the hay. Another day down…
