Happy Easter, Ya’ll!

Happy Easter! We started our morning off with a quick breakfast before heading to St. Frances Cabrini church in Camp Verde.  The church is small but sits atop a hill that overlooks the valley below.  A visiting priest said mass and we were intrigued by how particular he was about everything.  Cleaning up after communion … Continue reading »

We visited Tuzigoot first…it’s about 8 – 10 miles west of Cottonwood, Arizona making it about a 25 mile drive from our park.  Tuzigoot is an ancient pueblo that sits atop a desert hilltop that was built by … Continue reading »

Montezuma Castle, Montezuma Well & Indian Fry Bread

We visited Montezuma Castle National Monument this morning.  What an awesome place!  It’s one of the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America.  The inhabitants (the Sinagaua) of the cliff dwellings are believed to have left the area over 600 years ago and they inhabited the area for over 400 years!  The ‘high-rise apartments’ stand 100 to 150 feet … Continue reading »

A Clean Truck, A Parade & An Irish Faire

On Friday, Michael washed truck as it needed it pretty badly!  When he was over half done I went out and assisted by rinsing off what he had washed.  You could say I was playing with the hose since I might have sprayed Michael and myself a few times…but I’d rather say I was working. … Continue reading »
