Dinner & A Show?

We had a fairly quiet day with a quick trip to the grocery store and a Skype date with a very handsome young fellow this morning.  In 37 days we’ll be able to love on that little guy in person!

Jay & Stella had been wanting to see the Link Union (formerly the Link Family) perform while here in the valley.  They’ve seen them perform several times and really enjoyed them.  Luckily, they were performing here at our park tonight and we let Jay & Stella know so they made plans to go to the show with us.  The group consists of the mother & father and their 5 children and a daughter in-law.  The kids range in age from 13 to 25 or so and the play Bluegrass, Country, Gospel, old pop, old rock and even a little Celtic.  The tickets were $6.00 each and the show was about an hour and a half…not a bad deal!  We all enjoyed the show very much.

I made my mom’s spaghetti for dinner for everyone and we ate out on the patio as the weather was beautiful…temp about 84 with a nice breeze…although it did get a little gusty at times…but overall it was perfect.  As always we had great conversations.

We want to hear from you...whatcha got to say??
