Comments: Uchee Creek is part of Ft. Benning, Georgia and is situated along the Chattahoochee river.  The park is very pretty with lots of trees, hiking trails, boat landing, pull-thru & back-in sites.  Very well maintained and friendly people.  This park is teeming with wild deer!  Some people feed them they so come around in herds.  We really enjoyed watching them.

I worked for a division of the W.C.Bradley Company when I lived in Columbus. I know that the Bradley Company owned a facility in your area called Uchee Reservation in the 1960’s and 70’s. Is this the same place and if so, when and how did it become part of Fort Benning?

Sorry, Royce. We don’t live in the Uchee Creek area…we just camped there back in 2012. Can’t help you with the information you’re looking for.

We want to hear from you...whatcha got to say??
